Visiting dad

We have been in the car all day today and we just got to my dads place up north. Initially the plan was to drive half the distance and sleep, but we were delayed and had to drive all the way, over 980 km, and this is the last time! Soo boring.

Zingo and I will exchange a door in dads house that is really bad. While doing that we will add more insulation to the wall and put new wood boarding on the outside, in another style than before. Also the color of the house will be different. I figured dad would be conservative to my suggestions, but he instantly accepted both style and color change :) I'll see if I can get some photos of that later.

Since it is close to the woods we will take loong walks everyday. I also brought my mountainbike and I hope I can start training Z with that too during the week.

Totte visiting

This evening Lotta came by with Totte & Rebel. Totte will be staying here for a couple of days when she is working and Zingo never says no to a party friend! We all took a walk down the meadows and Z and T ran free. Good thing for Zingo to have a friend to play with. She and Rebel also hit it off really well!

After Lotta (and Rebel) went home they played for a while, and then they both lay down, Zingo in the bia and Totte by my feet under my desk. They're so cool :)

4 weeks today

Also last morning with the gang. And what a morning! Puppies slept all night long (if this is representative for the litter there are some 8 very happy puppy buyers out there) and when I woke up at 8 sharp it was because Bless and Zingo was playing. That means Blessin has gone into play mode, a state where she just awaits the pups to be big enough so she can play with them and every now and then discipline them.

I must say I have enjoyed these 4 weeks and even if Blessin does most of the work it has been very fun to be responsible for them. Unfortunately I decided from the start that i would NOT keep one of them, and I kind of regret that now, knowing them all. I also have a personal favorite (yes I'm allowed) that will be very hard not to steal. My work here is done and in a couple of hours I will drive them all to Kattis. I'll get back later with some pictures from that.

Worms

Nope, no worms here. But I did the first de-worming today. A little ball of paste to each of them. Reaction: Not like. At all. They shook their heads and was quite unhappy. Can it really taste that bad? Blessin also got her share, just on top of her food .. and she ate it like candy. I wish I had a video of them, but I might try to film it next time. However, I do have some other video clips that I will post in a day or two.


Taste a lot better

For a couple of days I've had the pups out on the floor, exploring the room. Today Zingo joined them for the first time.

All of them are very curious. However the red girl seems to be a little more brave than the rest. She worked the whole room all by herself.

Dry food + teeth

Time to introduce some standard dog food, soaked and mixed with minced meat to be as kind to the stomach as possible. Looks quite tasty huh? No? Pups liked it ALOT! Since I hand feed them I know very much about their teeth. They are growing, and they are SHARP!
